Define Beauty. What is it really? Are the eyes what honestly capture an image and allow most to visualize what beauty truly is?
Or is it the memory one possesses which determines what is actually beautiful and what is not?
The average person will look in a mirror and not be content with what they see.
Most women stretch the truth when it comes to how much they weigh or what their real age is. Meanwhile, the average male will lie about his actual height if he feels he doesn't measure up.
Just why is this though?
Have we, as a society, become so superficial that the only way to feel any sort of acceptance anymore is to make believe we are something which we actually are not?
Just how far would you go to feel validated?
Do you think the clothes you wear or the car you drive determines what you are worth?
Do you go out of your way to treat people nicer just because of what they look like or how much money they make?
And can any person, who projects a false image to others, honestly be content to live a lie while hiding behind a mask?
I guess I'm gullible. I thought I knew what beauty was only to find out later on my eyes were playing tricks on me again.
I am not fake. I never have been. Take me as I am or don't take me at all.
Unfortunately though, I've spent most of my life wandering through the desert.
I only hope one day I'll actually be able to get close to people again and not feel as though I'm reaching for another mirage.

I think people who lie ,not only to others but themselves, cheat themselves the most.
Even the ugliest mofo is beautiful if they have a pureheart.
